OLI-Natura HS Hardener - B-Component
This hardener component can optionally be added immediately before processing the following oils from OLI-Natura: HS Hard Wax Oils, HS Professional Oils, Worktop-Oil and Colour-Oil.. In addition to the pure oxidative drying, the OLI-NATURA HS Hardener also initiates a cross-linking reaction of the oil molecules. This results in the formation of particularly close-meshed oil structures that are firmly anchored in the wood and highly resistant. Surfaces treated in this way can be loaded earlier with only one application, have a greater final hardness and a higher abrasion resistance. The addition depends on the oil in question.
Application / processing instructions
.- Optimum processing conditions at 20°C and 50% relative humidity.
- Do not process below +15 °C
- Mix hardener thoroughly in the specified mixing ratio just before use.
- Process the mixture immediately.
- The dripping time is 2-3 hours for colourless oils (natural) and 1-2 hours for coloured oils.
- Do not pour back excess material.
- Danger of spontaneous combustion! Clean soaked rags/pads immediately after use or store under water.
- Oxidative drying. Provide open windows during and after processing to achieve air circulation.
Mixing ratios:
- HS Hard Wax Oil - 1 part hardener to 10 parts oil (1:10).
- HS-Profiöl - 1 part hardener to 10 parts oil (1:10)
- Worktop-Oil - 1 part hardener to 5 parts oil (1:5)
- Colour-Oil - 1 part hardener to 5 parts oil (1:5)
